Meet the Author.

Hi everybody! Thank you so much for following along on this new journey of mine. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Lindsay Gauthier. I’m originally from the US but have spent the past 6 years in Europe. I traveled non-stop at the beginning and then settled down in Sicily, Italy, teaching English as a second language.

As I child, I heard a lot about other countries and cultures from my father, who was a pilot. Combining my childhood memories with some of the new conversations I was having about travel with my ESL students, I was sparked with the idea to start writing this new children’s travel series.

Meet the Illustrator.

I was so lucky to have found the perfect illustrator to make my story come to life!  

Please meet, the lovely and incredibly talented, An Hryvtsova.  An is a children’s book illustrator from Ukraine.  She has been creating her art since 2017 and is so happy that she chose this direction in life.  To An, illustrating is a way to create new worlds and bring stories to life, using her own artistic style.

It only took one quick sample sketch from An to know that she was the perfect person for this book series.  I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with.
